Bluegill and shellcracker spawn

I believe the full moon in May is on the 26th. My wife and I are going to stay a week on Guntersville and want you opinion. We have the choice of 2 different weeks. Which of the 2 dates do you think would be best to take advantage of bedding bluegill and shellcrackers? We have the option of May 17th - 23rd or June 1st - 6th. I would assume the week after the full moon. Please let us know your thoughts. Thanks

I’d prolly take the earlier of the 2 if that’s the only choice u had but if you can get off around the new moon 2-3 days before or after is a whole lot better time for me to catch em ! You could have whacked em this past week!
