    Default Gville Bream Reports?

Has anyone found active bream beds on Guntersville yet? Not asking for any spots. I'm just curious if anyone has actually seen activity yet this spawning season, we've had a cool and wet spring! Dad and I are heading out Friday morning on the south end of the lake. I hope these last few warm days have helped. Any water temp reports?

    Thanks guys!

A buddy of mine and his wife caught 120 in 2 hours yesterday. He said they were all sizes. I didn't ask him if they were bedding but I sorta figured with that many, that quick that they were. His wife caught a giant shellcracker.

Next full moon will not be untill the 29th of May. Will that be too late to try to find them on the beds?

No they should be bedding but they will be a lil harder to locate because of the grass being up more then!
    Too blessed to be stressed!

I have seen beds made in the warmer shallow back water of Wheeler. All caught and cleaned were males, this was early last week during the full moon.

We did not find any actively bedding bream/crackers on May 4th. Water temp in the coves ranged from 73-75. Found several old beds from last year that had not been cleaned off yet. We managed a few scattered keeper size bream, but all were released. I hope to try this weekend again.

    Thanks for the replies gentlemen!
