    The built in transducer only do 2d but you can put your own transducer on there.

    Thanks Bama s and Big tiny.I heard it would not be good for side imaging to put transducer on trolling motor.I received a new Garmin for Christmas,and just wanted a second opinion.Thanks for yall's reply's.

    Not sure on garmin but on hummingbird you can change your chart speed and contrary to popular opinion si works great on the trolling motor if you have a si transducer.

    I have and know people who have had si on trolling motor for years . Go to this website and order a shield.

    I have side imaging, down imaging, sonar, and I don't know what else but this old man is too dumb to figure it out.

    Agree with Mitch I have used it for years, but you have to run your trolling motor straight.
