    That is what I was thinking also. A skate key. There is one thing about being old if the world ended today us old folks got to enjoy it longer.

    I guess I'm a senior as I know exactly what it for. It a key for old metal skates with metal wheels. The hex opening was to adjust the length of the skate and the small square hole was to adjust the clamps that held the skates to our leather soled shoes. I had great fun on those on the sidewalks.

    Correct you are, PPG !! Had a pair of them, myself .... back in the late 50's Almost as much fun as a Huffy bike w/o training wheels.
