Due to working conditions, weather, and space I’ve decided to first make it fit the big boat then adjust pole to fit kayak.
For the big boat went with a RAM suction cup ball mount on portable box for my ducer pole. Will have a h-rail ball mount on each side of yak for screen and pole.

Looking at adding a depth finder to my kayak I go online looking at batteries. I got a 12-7AH battery and charge at walmart for $20. It was listed in the game feeder section.
A week later at the auction house I got a 12-18AH motorcycle battery for $7. Checking online it will run a trolling motor for 4 to 5 hours.
I'm set with the batteries, now to find the other stuff.

Watching the auction today there was a Minn Kota Endura 30 12v trolling motor with a busted head. They didn't show the head. Sold for $80 with 10% buyer's fee and 7% tax it was $94.16. A fast search online I find it for $114. Wonder what a replacement head will cost.

Highs in the 30’s today with a 20mph nw wind.
    A lot of garage time.
    Decided to do some printing.
Worked on 2 new new GoPro mounts and a zero degree offset for the live scope. All turned out pretty well. The GP mounts work just need to put the LS pole together tomorrow to see if it’ll work. Trying to take several pics and eventually make a thread for my Hobie build to have it all together.

Here’s the suction cup GP mount, the “B” size 1” GP Ram mount and the zero degree LS transducer mount for my pole. Sorry in advance for picture overload.

    Update:
The zero degree mount I printed ended up being 12% to big to spline with the transducer pattern. I’m still learning that part so I’ll go back to the drawing board on that later.
Interim I’m going to use the trolling motor barrel block and a smaller clamp that came with it. Still fitting it on big boat then reduce pole length for yak.

Got the graph mounted using a Hobie h rail universal and ram mount. 10” screen may be too big for the yak cockpit. I’ll probably need to pass on the 2nd helping at Christmas dinner this year.

I thought my 9” screen was large for a yak when I installed but it’s no big deal now. I think you’ll be fine and happy for the larger screen.
