    Attention boaters along the St. Johns River in Volusia County, please read the following message from Volusia County and the Volusia Sherriff’s Office: Due to hazardous conditions caused by flooding on the St. Johns River, boat ramps are closed until further notice, with the exception of Shell Harbor Park in Pierson. Violators will be subject to arrest pursuant to FLA. Stat. Sec. 810.09 and vehicles subject to being towed. Volusia County asks all residents and visitors to stay off the St. Johns River.


    To report violations, please contact the Volusia Sherriff’s Office non-emergency dispatch at 386-943-8276 for West Volusia or 407-323-0151 for Osteen.

    Maybe not, Lake county has jurisdiction on just as much of the river on that stretch south!!

    Yes , boat ramps closed. Nothing about river traffic as there are many access points and homes along the river per my conversation with sheriffs department.nothing on FWC site either FYI . We’ll all wait and see . Be safe

    I received a notice on the 11th that the boat parade was canceled for this year due to the water levels and speed of the river.
