    Micanopy,
Check out the top two, I used spoons instead of dodgers and attached with mono a few inches back, lots of choices to use for the rear bait. Have had some success on gills but have not used enough yet to comment on. Will be watching with interest to see how you make out with this concept, sure you will tweak till ya get it right. Love those neon eyes and being faceted they reflect light very well. I've been using these type of eyes for many years but don't have any neons even though I looked for them years ago. Might need to pick up a few colors.

“Becreateful” on Etsy sells neon glass flatback rhinestones.

Took wife out on boat. TM batteries almost dead, gas tank dry. Been a month or more since I last went out. Uggghhhhh…..and got checked by warden back at ramp. I laughed and laughed.

I did troll around some with the dodgers and got a hit, but that was it for the fish. Now I am researching spoons. That was an excellent suggestion I got. Thanks.
Maybe they will bite this one……

Left side bought as a 3D.
Right side bought as a 2D and made into 3D.

In person- the one on the right has a slight edge in overall appearance. Hard to see here, but the one on the right just looks better. Deeper.

    Wife agrees with me.

I will get some new 2D eyes tomorrow. I will show what I now do with eyes, and what I recommend going forward.

Great as always Micapony. I read them all, but don't always have the energy to type. Since surgery, seems everything kicks my tail. Hope you have a better outing next time. I think those eyes will work really well.
