    Default Net stress and strain

Posted earlier about a quick outing with my grandson and that is and will be a fishing highlight! So tonight I went back out and strained the size and finish on my nice wooden catch and release net.I carefully positioned my boat just deeper than a nesting flat and set the anchor. I thought that the full moon and the water temperature would combine to make some crappie vulnerable. I was right, I hooked more great crappie than You could dream of. No kidding 20 fish in the 15" class,15 fish at 14",leaving only 13 fish under 14"! Very few places on earth have crappie of this average size. Hope to get back out on Monday night. Set to journey back out this evening, big waves to deal with today. Should be able to reach 400 on the year, and I had decided to reduce my goal to 500 for 2022. That would give me just over half a year to catch 100 crappie.
