Makes sense but some leaks out by the time you get the plug back in so I always feel I didn’t put enough. My name literally means rain. Lol

If you put the top plug in first it will minimize what escapes out of the bottom before you can get the plug in

It would take for ever to do it (fill from da top). The air would have no where to go. You'll never get the lower unit completely full. Ya gotta have a little air space for expansion.

So what lube comes out with the top plug in place is ok when placing the lower plug….???

Shouldn't lose much. Once you get the bottom plug in. You can always pull the top plug back out and add a little until you get to the desired level. Any time I did it I only lost a teaspoon or so. Not much at all

I may open the top plug and top it off then.
