    I just got lucky he happened to walk into my view the day after rifle opener. Seen him only twice this year. There's a small patch of Army Corps land that's open to the public a few miles away. I think they pushed him to me that morning or he was in the rut chasing all the doe's on my property. Been hunting elk n deer since I can remember, I'm thankful for him

    Went and checked on the fish.
    WT 4 degrees lower than last week.
    Fish moved, but I found them.
    Really nice when the wind finally slowed down.

    Was it a tough bite Kirk? I figured it was with that 30 degree temp drop. I was looking for an excuse to be lazy today and not get out and that’s what I told myself. Lol

    Yes it was tough. Fishing is so illogical, not sure if I’ll ever get it figured out.
