Default Another 20 fish but in even colder water

The weather turned cloudy with a breeze signaling another front moving in. Water temp was in the low 40's and dang if the strikes weren't obvious - when I could find fish that is. I worked many areas in the lake and only two produced numbers. 1/16 and 1/24 oz jigs worked best with the usual soft plastic designs that have proven themselves.

Water though brownish was clearer today than it was when warmer. Lure colors that did fine were bright or muted.

Crappies were 10-11" and perch 10" plus one LM bass and a sunfish; both crappy and perch in small schools or loose groups in a section.
Nov. 21 and fish still biting! Will have to check my old logs for Nov. to see how they compare.

Thanks guys. Cold and windy today. Not much chance of going out except to shop for Thanksgiving.
Question: Shady Brook Farm turkey locally is on sale for .47 /lb. / other super markets more than double that. How low the price where you are?

This can be a tough time of the year to fish. You are doing really well with the late fall action!

Went today early - no go - too cold for this old timer! (Course the 2 sunnies bit hard even in the 45 degree water post showers.)
