To update the thread... we manufacturer truck mounted cattle feed dispensers. They run off 12 volt and pull around 20 amps while running empty. The battery was charged all night. I hooked the battery up and let the feeder run no more than 30 minutes. When I hooked the tester to the battery, I didn't even have to load test it. It was only showing 9.5 volts. It's a 24 month old, AGM battery. I called the place where I got it and they have an 18 month warranty. Had I known that to start with, I would never have bought it to begin with.

I did a lot of reading about Lithiums last night. Watched a few YouTube videos too. One video talked in depth about Lithium technology and the guy said that many bass pro's used Miller Tech Lithiums. I looked them up last night and it's a business owned by 2 guys in Ohio. Their website has both their cell phone numbers listed. I called and talked with one of them for a while this afternoon and I ordered one. They have a 5 year full warranty. No proration like a lead battery.

Take a good look at the leads going to the batteries from the charger. Not so much the rings & posts as the first couple of inches of the wires themselves. I have seen them break down inside the insulators and you can see that. You have to feel for it.

Should have read all the way through. Sounds like you cured the problem.

I switched from lead acid to ionic lithium about a year ago. They are amazing. No comparison.

The new pontoon may get them. The Tracker got batteries at the beginning of this season. I expect them to last a few years

I get great service from the Walmart Everstart Batteries, I just can't get over the price of the lithos at this time.
If a warranty issue comes up, walk in walk out from any Wally World is tough to beat.

I had 2 group 29dc Everstart batteries running the lights in the chicken coop. They are hooked to 200 watts worth of solar panels. I put the batteries on in 2016. They came out of the boat doing trolling motor duty. They are 2013 batteries. I just changed them out today. They went out last week. So they spent 3 years in the boat, and 5 years powering the coop. Hard to beat. I will eventually change to lithium batteries
