Our fishing regs say unlimited panfish in any waters that aren't in a little chart, and these waters aren't marked, so theoretically, I'm sure they'd be fine, just after rain I wouldn't want to push it.

DSJ, I must have been misunderstood when I say THEY as in the American yellow perch that CTP caught, never hinting we should introduce European strain of perches at all. As for how big they get, a quick search came up with this.

we never managed to ketch any real big ones in Pa. when I was kid , but my bud ketches some rather large versions when he visits Minnesota every year ,there are not any in Texas best I can tell ya
