    I think that Saturday I will go out to experiment with Charlie Brewer Charlie Bees for gills. I've only used them for crappie previously. Anybody use them for bg?

    Never heard of it til now, looks good, what have you found while using it for crappie?

    I had a couple a while back and they did ok for me but I was casting them and lost it before too very long. They performed well, didn’t twist and so on.

    I’m sure they’d work, but almost any small jig will take gills.

    Crappie like them all the time but best early in the year when shad are small. Also good in shallow water.
