I like my cordless. I’ve cleaned over 50 fish on one battery.

The only con to me is it doesn’t fit my hand just right. My hand will start to cramp around #20.

Takes me three years to catch 50 fish. So, I should be ok, lol.

    Yea you’ll be fine.

You should learn a manual knife. I think this year I’m going to go manual when I catch just a mess. My dad won’t use electric ,retired butcher. He’s a little faster than I am with my electric.

You will have to get used to it being so sharp! I cut through several rib cages before I got the hang of it being so sharp but I absolutely love it! Going on 2nd year and very satisfied !

I really love my cordless model not having to fool with a cord. It was amazing how good it fillet fish and how long one battery last.
Be safe and good luck fishing

I will say my blades are dull after two seasons. I’ve never tried to sharpen those kind of blades. The other three sets are too big IMO. I may just go buy another set the right length.

Maybe I’m doing it wrong. I cut through the ribs intentionally.
