Oh no. I guess I shall soon find out but I hope the whole bunch isn’t defective. I ordered a 1000 series from Digitaka yesterday. I didn’t really need it but was curious to check it out. I have two of the presso limited reels and two of the older exists and I am hoping the airity is as smooth as them. I’ll let you all know!

Interesting to hear some reviews on the Airity from members here.

Is it simply a low inertia reel or because the reviewer speculates a defective first batch?

I think it’ll be fine. The guy put out a fishing video using the reel today. Had it been defective I don’t think he would have used it. This was a complaint by some on the 2020 Luvias as well. i_fish hated the Luvias because it was not a low inertia reel...I love mine and it is very smooth.

    Regards

Here is what my buddy had to say about his new Airity.

"Looking over the new Luvias Airity it looks like it’s built on the Ecist body. Nothing like the Luvias. So far, I’m really impressed..."

    Default Life is short...

Tomorrow I will put some line on it. This weekend I will take it out for a spin.

It is the lightest reel I’ve ever held. And the smoothest. It makes my Ballistic FW feel a little cheap. (But I still love my Ballistic FW!)
