    Default Cabin Fever Purchases

I have a pretty bad case of cabin fever.

Rather than actually crappie fishing, I've been buying stuff for crappie fishing.

In the past 30 days, I've bought:

Simms Challenger Insulated Coat and Bibs
    Dub-l-Seat T-Bars
    Huckabee Phantom 13' Rod
    Bone Stix 13' Rod
    3x Daiwa Tatula Flipping Reels
Some Lone Star jigs and G-Daddy Baits

And today I ordered a Regal Vise and a bunch of supplies to tie my own jigs.

If I don't get out fishing soon, I'm going to go broke!

Anyone else have this sort of a problem this time of year?

I just ordered livescope, a lithium battery to run the scope, and a Jenko X13, so I feel your pain... I’d be lying if I said I even had the first bit of buyers remorse, though. Cant wait to get on the water.

    I’m pushing the 5,000.00 mark
BUT I’m fishing all winter long.
And they say bass fishing was expensive !!!
Wish I could sell all my bass stuff.
Done chunking and winding for the green carp.
Thinking about giving it all away to a 16 year old boy that fishes tournaments with his dad. Both friends of mine. Last count was over 50 bait casters with various action rods.
    Chuck.

Gave all my bass fishing rods, reels, and two full boxes of cranks and other stuff away a few years ago. Just kept hurting to see it setting and not being used and knew some other folks would really enjoy and it did not hurt my feelings one bit. Cabin fever or just the addictive crappie fever has pushed me to purchase Livescope late in December plus several upgrades to my old boat. I buy this stuff and I have to get out and put it on, and then read, research, you-tube, and then I have a new adventure to look forward to. Really enjoy crappie fishing, but the installations and research and planning I consider a great stress relief and mind clearing therapy as well. Don't know that my wife would agree but she never complains and has no idea what all "WE" own related to fishing. Probably should put a list together of what all "WE" do own. Life is good and crappie fishing folks are great people.

I'm fishing every chance I get and buying "small ticket" items. Get out and go fishing!

Cabin fever forced us to buy a cabin on the lake. Also bought some new jig molds and soft plastic molds.
