    Default Bobby garland baby shad

Hey guys sorry to keep asking questions on here but would the baby shad work in a lake with only gizzard shad? Or is it more of a river lure where there are smaller shad?

    Thanks!

Shad style baits work anywhere, even if there are no "Shad" species in that body of water .... it looks like a small fish, and that's all that matters.

Baby shad is the one, everyone should have in their tackle box, the more color the merrier.

Pearl white, monkey milk, chartreuse, blue ice. These are typically good colors to use 1/16-1/32 head.

I like Blue Ice. Yes, they will catch crappie at all times.

shad presence/species or lack of means diddly , bobby garland baits work very well .
some colors in some places work best and yet other times its a totally different one .
blue ice has been mentioned often because it hammers fish .
cajun cricket is an all time favorite in these parts as well .
