    Default Old school fishing


    Went out panfishing on my couple of days off and had a blast. Took the old push button spincast combo out like I did when I was kid with worms and corks. I ran slow up the bank of the river against the current with the trolling motor of the Jon boat and cast up in all the small eddys and trees creating slack water and ended up keeping about 20 hand sized bluegills and shell crackers and fried them up whole and man was it good. Haven’t done that in a long time but I plan on making it a habit. I attached a pic of one of the red ears for inspiration.Name:  IMG_1491.jpg

    Thats a great pic. Looks like a really nice place you have to fish.

    I enjoy it. A lot of people don’t like to search for the fish here so there’s a lot of times I’m on the river right by myself.
