Default Time to put the boat away

Temps have dropped into the low 30s and the ground has snow cover.
So with a tear in my eye I am putting the boat away for the winter.

Thats so funny. Heres my version. As the water temps drop into the high 70's, I make sure all the summer work that has been done is all complete and final connections made. New batteries if needed, fish finder points loaded in both units.

As the air temps drop into the low 70's the fall/winter fishing season has began. It usually last through the beginning of June for me.

Nice picture! It doesn't look good for fishing but each season has it's own beauty.
Or so I'm told, we mostly skip winter around here. lol

Normally We get a good frost early in October and then get a Indian summer with air temp. 50-60 degrees.
The lakes turn over and the crappie fishing gets real good. I usually fish right up to November.
    This year no Indian Summer.:-(

I am not a snow fan, but I do like snow ice cream.
