2.86’ above flood stage and no more rising than a foot more. Above the causeway has to be either mix or muddy with it coming up 3-4 ft since last rains.
Anyone on Monroe today or yesterday? Heading there in the am, hope it’s not up.

Did well, fished slow side, water is up a couple feet and muddy but it wasn’t bad fishing. Went to fast side and it was much clearer in the area I went. Lots of little fish to deal with but found good ones 11-13” range.

We’ve been fishing shallow end, lots of small fish with very few 12+ fish, most are spawned out.

Last few days 63.5 degrees, the 2 foot shallows before the 2.9 ft water level increase it was 68.9 in the 2-3 ft depths.....that was last week. Those fish that were caught were 1 male per each female 50/50, the females were busting with eggs.

Wife just showed me a video posted on Facebook at 11:30 am today at Paynetown where someone video’ed the backup from the ramp all the way back to main entrance. What a friggin mess.

I’d believe it but also expect it on Memorial weekend. I went to Boggs on Friday and there were more fishermen there that day than Monroe on Thursday. First and last time I’ll go to Boggs this year, used to be a favorite but boats were on top of each other. I’ll definitely be back at Monroe.
