    Default Lake Redman

I was wondering if anyone has fished Lake Redman before? I am thinking about taking the kayak there and giving it a try.

Don't know anything about Redmond, living on the border line with Ohio. Maybe someone will chime in.

I used to fish it a few times. If I remember correctly either Redman or Williams ( connecting lake) was shut down last year for repairs. I have not heard anything recently. I used to get some good information at the local shows but since they were canceled I am in the dark. However you may want to consider Marburg. I fished it in years past in the creeks coming in and caught some really nice crappie. I also fish the main boat launch with the permanent dock and catch panfish. I have done well with crappie at times under the third bridge on the lake side of it. Do not get me wrong I never killed the fish but have caught a decent meal of them every now and then.
If you are thinking of going there call Gordon at B and B tackle in Hanover. He may have a few tips for you also.

Redman and Pinchot are electric only lakes. Lake Marburg is a 20 hp lake. All three are multi species lakes. Hope this helps you.

Have you fished Opossum lake? Another place is Long Arm. I know they catch some huge crappie in the cove near the breast in May.
