    Default Rend Ice??

Just wondering if anyone could fill me in on how much ice is on the lake right now and what ramps aren’t locked up? Thanks

The only ice at Rend is likely at the nearest gas station. Ice is pretty much gone from small ponds around here.

I passed Rend on my way down to the Grizzly Jig show last week
and didn't see any ice on the lake. However the lake was very high
and VERY muddy! You might want to call Nick Shafer at Crappie

    for more info.

There is no ice, at least none in the area anyone needs to be fishin. There has been some small amounts in the back waters where the wind don't get to it much but it don't last long and that's not where the fish are being caught. The main lake is wide open.

Made my first trips to Rend this year. 1st time nothing, 2nd trip I got 12 ones to bring home and put back 6. The bite STOPPED hard at 9:30 and someone up there told me that’s the way it is. Has this been your all’s experience?? I’m not trying to hijack this thread, but thought the info could help them too!

That is false. It all depends on where you are fishing. If they stop biting find a new spot.
