I'm using the SOS 2lb line on my JDM reels. I went last night to a roadside spot here on Lake Barkley and decided to throw the Crappie Magnets. With the Finetail area stage 6'3 SUL paired with the 1003 Luvias, I was easily casting 60ft, maybe 70ft. Someone down there commented on the long casts.
Anyway, is the SOS 2lb line a good choice? I do have one spool of the Varivas 2.3lb line, just haven't used it yet.
Some of my goodies came in... I’ll have to schedule a day off work soon... I restocked my jig heads and picked up some fun stuff... no idea when I’ll get to test all of this line...
No clue why the line pic posted twice
I am assuming the 2.3# test Varivas is the ester line. Keep in mind it and nylon do not compare in any way. SOS line is a good line.....but I have to tell you if one wants use a 3# test line the Troutist 3# test at .128mm is the way to go.

Where do I buy the Troutist line, Randy? I looked on Digitaka and saw tons of different lines but no Troutist Sunline. Asian Portal has it, are they reputable?
I got mine from Chris.....a little more expensive but with shipping it equals out.

I have some of the troutist green in 2.5 and like it a lot, casting is very good.
Creativity is just intelligence fooling around
Where are other places to buy the Troutist Sunline? Asian portal wanted 20+ bucks for shipping. Maybe I'll have to pay it??
