During the off-season when the weather doesn’t cooperate I find myself watching YouTube channels to try to learn new tips. Do you guys recommend any channels? I watch brushpile fishing, Richard gene, and flopping crappie. Obviously not all lakes will fish the same, but sometimes their ideas help me come up with new ideas and techniques to try when fishing is slow. I like to watch channels that would most relate to our region.
Been a while since I posted, but I love to fill my freezer with venison along with fish! I wanted to fish the entire summer into September but ran into motor problems with the boat. I was losing power. Picked up a new motor a few weeks back so I will be back in the game come ice off! Ice fishing doesn’t look promising this year!
thanks in advance!

This is our local guru using a unique but deadly technique. He targets White Perch since our reservoirs are full of them, but catches LM and SM Bass in the bargain. He does some on crappie but watch his method as he describes how he fishes.
PS: He recently lost his wife ( sudden and unexpected) so if you hit his last two or three he talks through his grief while fishing.

Another tool is to go to some fishing outdoor shows. There are many that are small to medium size and has real people with real information that you can use. Seminars are usually free and admission usually goes to fire company's or other non profit groups. This is a win-win for me.

Check out Russ Bailey’s brushpile fishing series. He fishes with different guests on their home lakes every week. I’ve even had the pleasure to fish with him. BrushPile Fishing with Russ Bailey | Season 6 Starts at 8 p.m., December 30th On Pursuit Channel!
