Great vacation. You and Judy enjoy. We did the same trip almost 5 years ago. 5 nights Oahu and 3 Nights Maui. Beautiful place. Liked laid back Maui best.

We made it over to Pearl Harbor to see the Memorial, what a somber ing experience, I’ve often said I owe a debt of gratitude to all who served and that feeling is much deeper after touring this. I did shoot some video, hopefully it will look good enough to share on YT.

From the USS Arizona memorial we went to the USS Missouri, what an impressive ship with incredible history.

I seen the famous “victory kiss” statue and said to Judy we should pose next to it and re create the pose which we did. It must have been a good idea cause a couple others said what a great idea would you take a picture of us doing that? Heck one young lady asked a guy passing by if he’d be the sailor which he gladly accepted.

What a difference, Maui isn’t nearly as congested, whereas Oahu felt like being in a Chicago or New York....Maui is more wide open and laid back.
Made it to our room in Lahaina, more pics coming.

I apologize. Last time I looked I posted about Oahu/Maui. It says I closed the thread. Accident for sure. It is open again.

Did that same trip about 5 years ago. Really enjoyable.
Went deep sea fishing, guide said let’s try some shallow water. I asked how deep, 600’. LOL
His idea of shallow is different than mine!

The deep sea fishing is really choice. Paid the "tax man" a few times before I could collect any fish.
    Kinda like our northern pike.

    Deep Sea Fishing,

Lived there for 6 years, never went once.
Could not afford it in military pay.

    Barracuda’s were plentiful though.

That was one thing I always looked forward to coming home on leave.

Fishing or hunting, if the seasons were right.
