Thread: Lowrance HDS 9 Gen 2 touch screen cover.

I bought a Berkley pro sun shade for my Garmin . I have no problems with Garmin cover. Only problem with Huminbird covers is the newer rubber ones can turn on power if putting it on incorrectly. Most Lowrance users keep a rubber strap over covers to keep them from blowing off .Have you looked for one on Ebay or Lowrence store ?

I haven't looked on ebay, didn't think to do that, thanks good idea. I usually kept a strap on my cover when transporting but I had taken the cover off to fish and didn't put it in the storage box. So it blew off the deck when moving to a new spot with my big motor. I lost my garmin cover at the same time, but I found a replacement for it. All my searches for the Lowrance cover show one for the HDS 9 Gen 3 but I don't know if it's the same cover as the Gen 2.
