    Default Small lake, Big Fish.

This morning I took a 45 minute drive to a small lake I've never fished before. I was told by a coworker who fished it back in 90's that plenty of 3lb crappie come out of it. I started about 10am. Marked lots of fish in 15'. All those marks were 5"-8" fish. No big'uns to be found. So I switched up to a different profile, and weight. Also found some dirtier water. Boom! That was the ticket. Found the hogs in 10'-14' muddy water. I didn't find any 3lb crappie, but for sure a 2lber was had. I'll be back to this place. Monsters lurk its waters.
