Default Here piggy, piggy = SNOUT!!

Ideal conditions proved to be the setting for one of the most yielding solo Saltwater trips for this 58 - 63 degree water temp., sunny, light wind November Monday. Decided to try a new "mousetrap"(see pic) on my stereotypical med. light spinning outfit sticking with my artificials-only bait choice. Didn't take very long to realize that today would be one for the books & tales du jour. One of those days that you hate to see end. Numerous trout>20.5"(3 legal limits plus throwbacks), 4 Snook 20 , 23, 25, 29.5"(7 1/2 lb.), couple black drum, one sheepshead, sea bass, acrobatic thick shouldered Ladyfish. One recent affordable, unaffiliated find was a Cuda 8 1/2" filet knife(see pic -WalMart or Amazon) that is scary sharp out of the box(blade angle is crucial or you WILL slice through skin while separating flesh). Check out the Snook filets with CHEEKS!(yummy). Enjoy the pics of my memorable day. FYI- SNOUT = Snook & Trout ---also cut baits in half before attaching to 1/8 oz. jighead.

Great day. Been using Yum Dingers myself, also the Yum Swim Dingers that have a tiny little paddle tail. They work as good as the Lil Johns at less cost and wider variety of colors for sure.

Them Senkos make a great swimbait on a non weighted swimbait hook. Skip under mangroves great.

Actually used the white glitter 3" senko last week with good success. That's what brought the 1/2 bait Strike King at better price margin. Color was great too.

Yea I dont use "Senko's" either due to cost, was referring to bait style. Have not tried any yet, but those Ned rig TRD style baits have some interesting traits as well.

Those big dog Snook are difficult enough in open water/edge of mangroves let alone one of those Picasso casts up inside the roots!!
They'll come out to play fine with the horizontal/parallel presentation.
