I believe he implied Monroe, but yep, actual location would be nice. Not that it matters to me, I'd go to it no matter where it is!

I'll be there plus 1 Tim...if you do the fry, 3 filets per guest should be more than enough & just put up a list for drinks, side dishes, & deserts, so that you get a even spread a couple weeks before the event, it's your's to tweak with fruit jars, prizes, ect...but the gathering is what it's really all about, & ata-boy for getting the ball rolling, look forward to it....

Yes ! It is the best way to meet others. There is a lot to learn from just talking with the people that are there. A lot of the guys bring their boats to it. We fish in the morning and then come back to the park around noon to meet and eat. Someone is always eager to show off their catch and their set up. I always learn something new when we go.

another good day at the office !

Actually Skeet, after seeing Speck Detector Jeff proffer his "easy dos", I think another, omitted one = make Lake Harney the fest site. That way we can just follow him, catch big slabs, save gas, exchange live details on one another's catches. See attachment to clarify the scenario per OCurrans/Howard & Slab/Ed(aka head Gewber).. We all would have unused fuel for Jeff to replenish his fuel without needing Sea Tow(it's only right). I have named this scenario "rope a dope"!! No disrespect intended since I was the one being towed with impeller issues!!
