That is good to hear they have you pain free. Hope you get back to the water soon
I'm guessing everyone wonders where I've been.
I was busy with travel for work and managing pain in my back in July and Aug. Everything crashed in late August while I was returning from Italy. Since then I've been at home riding a pain tidal wave that even Morphine doesn't touch. The short version is a herniated disk between my c6 and c7 that was pinching the nerve into my left arm causing severe nerve pain. Surgery yesterday to replace the disk with a synthetic. Up walking around pain free within hours after the surgery and out of the hospital and home now. I'll need to take it easy for a couple weeks, but I hope to be back on the water by late Oct or early Nov.

The love for fishing is one of the best gifts you can pass along
Man hate to hear that. Amazing what surgery can do now. I know your relieved to be pain free. Take it easy and heal up. Fishing can wait.
Glad you are back up on your feet... my dad had something very similar and was worried about having surgery and all went well in his case... I’ll never forget when he called me at work saying he couldn’t get out of bed... back injuries can really put a man down... glad you are doing well!

Sorry to hear your troubles ! Glad to know that they have you fixed up and your pain free take it easy and you’ll be back out before you know it!
I injured my back back in 1979 L3-L4 slipping on a greasy kitchen floor while in Germany. Fell flat on a corner of a brick. Now degenerative disc's. Pain everyday, but still drive on. When it gets where I need strong pain meds we might discuss surgery. The thought that a slight slip back thier while surgery is going on could put me in a wheel chair scars the **** out of me...
