    I believe the fast lever is a choke. Mine also has a choke pull switch on motor (for tiller steered models)

    Mine didn't have a manual choke. Would have been better if it had

    Some boats you push the key in and it chokes the motor the key hole is a button that's the way mine is made. Picture of your control unit would really help to know just what you may have.
