I think it is like I did when I put deeper eyeballs in my minnow mold. I took a small drill bit to drill out a socket pocket.
Before shooting the tail you heat up your red plastic and add a drop of it into the socket. Shoot the rest of the tail color. Leave the tail part in the mold and now you can shoot the body.

Ok. You make the bait including the tail. Then you heat the red plastic and drop a drop on to the tail.

Okay guys here is the process take a paper punch you have to use the same bait that you take out of the mold that you were going to use what happens is when you put the dot back into the mold the same mold when you put the mold back together it holds it tightly then go ahead and shoot any color.

Would that process still work if the mold didn't have the writing to hold it in place like yours? Pretty cool Bob.

I would try to use the same mold when you were doing this process. It would be depending on the thickness of the plastic from another mold.

Did you do laminate and then cut the tails of and put the tail in the mold and drip red plastic on it and then shoot it all green again
