    Default Striper action today

Tom (Gadabout) and I enjoyed a beautiful sunrise on Murray today. I caught 2 nice ones on the $20 spoon I've been grumbling about not long after we arrived. Both in about 30 FOW. Tom noticed some surface activity near the shore and the fun started. I got 2 huge strikes on top water but both came off. Another came quickly and I made sure he got no slack in the line and managed to get him in the net. Another one came right behind and I saw how small he seemed, got careless with the net and let him shake loose. Got the front hook hung in the net and he shook off the back one before I could get him over the side. Meanwhile Tom had put 2 in the boat. After that it died down and we never got another hit but we had good fish in the boat.
We checked out the point at Coach Muschamp's house but no luck there so we soon called it a day.
I cleaned 2 of the fish and decided that a few for lunch sounded good. Most went in freezer.
Lot of fun today after striking out Monday.

Bust them while you can SeaRay! Great pictures especially the cooler shot and what was left on the plate. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

Never fished Murray. Looks like I am missing a lot. Love the looks of that house!
