Don’t fish docks much but these is a bunch of them at Blackshear. Most of these were caught trolling along the channel. Most were in the fall except Billbob....
Hello everyone. Greetings from the Tennessee forum. I am president of East TN Crappie Club and we are considering scheduling a members trip the first week of November to Blackshear. Heard a lot of good things and would like to try the lake out.
My question to you guys is, how are the docks? Do they hold a lot of fish and if so are there a good number of docks that hold fish or is it only a few. I have looked on google earth and Navionics and I know there is a lot of docks on the lake.
Your input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

Alot of the docks on Blackshear are shallow, there are a few that produce good fish regular, but I usually troll Blackshear, I (personally) have better luck with that techniques then
dock shooting at Blackshear.
Oconnee and Sinclair are much better for dock shooting in my opinion. But November is a awesome time to be trolling on Blackshear, but my deer hunting gets in the way of me spending alot of time on the lake then. LOL
