    Been lagging but finally got out and had to do some re thinking. Level dropped a foot - hope it's evaporation. Wasted too much time @ the island - boat vultures all over the place. Decided to troll over to the east end. Found a lot of suspended smaller fish. Most were pre spawn females and some were post spawn males. These are the fish that make excellent fish tacos - low stress feeding on aquatic insects... Got over to one spot that has been producing some very big fish - wish I would have started there. Dropped 2 big bites and then I popped a toad (11 7/8" X 15" = 2.23) - was shocked it was a male, been finding the larger females at this spot. Had to leave because of unwanted boat spying....

    Found suspended fish (between 7 and 10) over 42 to 21 FOW. Surface temp was 74*F.

    Wow! I’m afraid that if I finally made it out there and fished with you, I would be super disappointed with the fish I caught back home. Ha ha ha! It would still be worth it!

    Some great fish, as always Sonny. I’ve had a very good last week and you’re catching up on your normal thing in fine style. That big one was almost a perfect circle. Thanks.
