    Default Taylorsville water level today

Looks like Taylorsville is still up a bunch. Can anyone tell me if the ramps are accessible? Wife wants to fish. In the morning but idk where to go. We are closest to Rough River and T-ville. Any suggestions?

As of 4PM the lake was 7.8ft above Summer Pool and falling. My best guess as to which ramp to use is Possum Ridge. My best guess as to what to fish with & what method of fishing to use is .... 'cause I ain't been there in a month (not to mention I haven't fished the lake when it's been that high)

If it were me, I'd go to Green ... put in at Holmes Bend ... Longline/Push/Pull jigs (or cranks) from there to the bridge ... if I were Spider Rigging minnows, I'd go to the bridge and up into Casey Creek. (I'd also check out what everyone else Crappie fishing was doing, more for depth of water they were fishing.)

According to the COE : Green's thermocline (at the dam) is around 15-17ft deep, as of 6/25 .... Taylorsville's report is from 6/23 (height of the recent rise) and shows the thermocline at 10-12ft deep (at the dam). Both lakes are being pulled pretty hard : T-ville @2000cfs & Green @ 4000cfs

Possum ridge was easy getting on the water. Plenty of trash wood but light boat traffic. Courtesy dock ramp was under water @ 8 am. At noon coming off the water it was more like Dixie hwy at 5 pm on Friday. Fish were tight to structure and tight lipped. Caught a half dozen dinks and gills and 1 small cat. Still way better than binge watching anything on the tube.
