    Default HOG WILD

and partying like rock stars for sure
the place if flat full of hogs right now
I guess we better get a bit more busy doing some hog control
the deer seem not terribly interested in hanging around there right now
pretty sure the hogs have them pushed out .
ran down a snake accidently in the grass .
western coachwhip , the mini enjoyed handling it some
wife planted more trees and shrubs while I checked cameras and feeders
will hunt next weekend for sure
saw a doe and a fawn right by the place under a tree...run bambi run said momma
and a few fawn tracks in the driveway
the butterfly bush I bought that was about dead last year seems quite happy out there btw
acorn crop is real heavy from what I can tell
and we got so many bugs this year it defies imagination ,just roll the window down for a second or 2 and get ya some
that's the back forty report for the week
p.s. check out photos 512 513 , 20 seconds apart in a lightning storm , hogs seem to not care about lightning at all and I got bunches of cool real bright lit up night photos 2 nights during storms at the place

You got them bad. The high water pushed them off me on to someone else property. You need one of thoes remote control trap doors and catch the whole sounder.

I've only ever seen one hog in the wild. Helped drag one out one time, good eating! Used to be ton's of them around here but these days the state fly's the ranch's and shoot's them from a plane!

thanks for the reads and comments yawl , one thing for certain they are a nuisance ,but at the same time a little bit of a blessing in the fun and food they supply . year round hunting night and day is a nice opportunity to have .
I might go solo and try to take one this weekend ,stay tuned

You should be ashamed of yourself, putting that little girls life in danger like that! Aren't all snakes super duper poisonous! At least that's the way I see it! lol - j/k

To be sure we chatted heavily about not trying to touch snakes without my blessing , the little is fascinated by all critters big and small for sure .when she was 2 a box of night crawlers made her some kind of happy to play with ...lol

Great pics and that’s just lots of bacon on the hoof. Never taken one but lots of friends have. Great meal when they’re cooked in the ground.
