    Default Mini Marabou Roadrunner

Have done this before, but wanted to just show how guy can use Mini Marabou on a small jig. I could have done a little more at the next pretty easy, but just wanted to tie this using just the one tiny feather.

Oh there is a huge difference in the size of the mini to say strung Blood Quills. Here is a picture to compare a normal Mini to a normal Blood Quill.

I just tied in the tail at the back of the hook and palmered the feather until I stopped and cut the rest off and finished.

Good jig Skip, always look for something different.

Dave, I had a couple of friends come over and we tied jigs and ate crappie tacos a couple of times. It was great fun. Just putting your heads together helps everyone involved, and the tacos were great! I would take a class with Skip myself.

Yeah, I definitely would like to take a class with Skip as the instructor!
It would even be better if we could do it on-line, live.

Thank you "G", much appreciated! we always have had good times over at the LA Camp get togethers. I have always felt it would be really nice to have more guy and gals tying near me, but just has not happened, at least that I know of. I do know there are some fly tying guys that meat somewhere on Toledo Bend, but I don't know them.

I needed something to take up some of the time I had been putting into the stock market for years and really enjoyed the learning which was not like now with all the videos and such, but the way I learned also taught me things I would have never even seen just tying jigs for crappie. That way I got a real education on the subject from the language to the techniques used. It's been a lot of fun and a great ride that I hope just keeps going.

I also have really enjoyed helping others in their quest to learn about tying jigs.

    Thanks again guys,
