    I grew up crappie fishing with my dad. When he was diagnoused with cancer, he wanted to go one last time. I don't remember how many we caught or how big they were but I will always remember the smiles.

    The day I caught this was one of my best days fishing ever! Almost every cast I was bringing one in. Nothing of any size much but a joy to catch. I even remembered to get photos for the BnM contest that was going on that month. Would love to have one of those days and take my family especially my daughter. Love to see and hear her get excited!

    Took the Scouts to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area, and of course, the kid that could care less about fishing caught the biggest fish. A 3 1/2 foot long Northern Pike. He was in my canoe that day, so, it is a lasting memory. I know it's not a Crappie, but we did catch and eat a lot of Crappie that week.

    took grand kids fishing they had more fun catching craw fish and frogs then fishing.
