    Default Question for nightstalkin'

So I did quite well last summer nightstalkin bridges, main river ledges, creek mouths etc. This time of the year, however, while the fish are much shallower/further into creeks, what would one do? Just set up mid creek? Back of creek? Close to shore? What guidelines would one follow for spring nights? Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

Try setting up in the mouth of secondary creeks. The crappie will still more out to the first drop from the flats & may go out to the second drop off if the first one isn't in deep enough water. Seems the fish I been catching are running back to 15 to 20' creek channels. I have fished 10' flats nightstalking this time of the year but unless there is cover close by you do better deeper.

What Stump said. I normally setup in 20-25 fow. Close to the channel. Good Luck!
