This is what I have the Luvias spooled with. With a Specific gravity higher than 1, which is generally what water is considered as at normal pressure and temperatures ( not extremes) it does sink. It does not float as the Nanofil does. While not as dense as the Ester line you are using, this 3lb yellow braided line on the X-Ride performed well last weekend on some nice Specks I caught from the boat. I am planning on giving it more seat time this Spring.
Suspend type of high specific gravity 1.18 corresponding to various night games.
As it is low in elongation and excellent in sensitivity, it does not miss faint Atari.
Line color is high visibility even at night, and fluorescent yellow which is hard to lose color by special processing.
It is with a purple marking every 25m.

For those interested in how a Graphiteleader Corto and a Finezza Prototype will handle a big fish of you get into one while panfishing......check out the beautiful bend in these rods while fighting 2 big Smallies.

I am so bad on retying after fish.
Gosh those are pretty fish. Rod bending fun. Still contemplating the Lunakia. I put the Majorcraft XRide through another weekend of Crappie fishing, and remembered to snap a photo this week.
I spooled my other Luvias with 2lb White Nanofil, so I could compare it to the one I used last Saturday with the Unitaka 3lb Braid. The rod, as far as casting distance and sensitivity was about the same, but the Nanofil did keep the jig higher in the water column with the same slow retrieve, obvious by the amount of bottom contact. I like the X-Ride, still experimenting with the lines.

I took two days off from work last week and had a blast with the 6’9” Tict Ice Cube Rockin Finesse and my 2004 Daiwa Luvias. I still haven’t quite figured out the line situation but at this time I am using 2lb maxima. I didn’t have any fish break off either of the two days and used a section of 2lb sos flouro. The jigheads I used were the Daiwa Gebekkajin .5 gram, 1 gram, and 1.5 gram all with a #8 hook. The bait of choice was a sow bug trout magnet. I did also catch a few on the new lemon meringue colored trout magnet. I primarily used the 1 gram jighead but when I saw them on bed or just off the bank I switched to the .5 gram. I can’t say enough in general about how great this rod feels when you hook into a slab from the bank. On Monday I caught probably 40 gills with several in the 8” range. One largemouth that was 16” and two crappie. On Thursday I caught a good 50 gills, one smallie, and 12 crappie. Not stellar but the limit here is 15 and I thought I would scratch it out but it didn’t happen. Big fish was 14” and after losing a 13” that I was trying to photograph on the bump board I stopped taking pics.. lol. But here is a hodgepodge of fish pics..
Very nice.....I know you had a ball. The more I use different JDM UL rods for different specie the more impressed I am with JDM rods. I am also extremely impressed with the Daiwa Gekkabijin jig heads. The largemouth and Smallies I catch are hooked securely in the boney part of the mouth. Im also noticing the bluegill are being hooked deep....maybe too deep. I am attributing that deep hook penetration to all 3.....the rods....the polyester line.....and the needle sharp jig heads.

Great Catch and Pics there VA dude. The Crappie look like they are on the nest where you are fishing. Good size also. That is a nice Gill, best eating fish in the lake in my opinion. Limit is 15 here too but it appears you ended up with a bowl full of fillets, congratulations.
