Excellent day on the water Spider Rigging the Big E' with Eufaula boy Brian Young just packed the freezer with 94 nice crappie fillets.
Out of all the guide trips I've ever been on this was by far the most successful; and not just from catching crappie but also from all of the techniques and tips Brian shared.

Fishing has been pretty good last week for me. I was able to go 4 days last week. Monday I went by myself and caught my limit, I also went by myself Thursday and caught my limit, on Friday I took a buddy and his young son and we kept 50 then yesterday I took a buddy and my dad and we kept 46. Yesterday the fish were very scattered and it was much more difficult to find the bigger fish. My big fish of the week was a 1.68# female that I released. I try and release everything over 1.50# if they are females this time of year. I am going to take a day off work tomorrow and go back and give it another shot. All caught on jigs. I have not found any fish really shallow yet.

My 6 yr old grandson and 5 yr old granddaughter caught their first fish and crappie last week at Elm Point, when fishing with "Pappaw". They were both so excited they almost jumped out of the boat! Lol
