Default Any Ramps open at Clinton or Eldorado?

I’m coming back to JC Ks for a couple of day 3-7-19 to 3-10-19 to have some work done on my boat. I would love to try it out and maybe feel the thump before head back to Colorado.

All of the El Dorado Reservoir ramps are currently locked in ice. All open last Friday, but the extreme cold that moved in locked everything up.

Hopefully it will open back up quickly with the forecasted warmer temps...if you believe in "forecasts"!!

Here's a shot of the ice thickness at El Dorado as of this afternoon March 5th. It's not even "good" ice! Hopefully it will come off quickly.

The winds of Kansas will be here this weekend, that ice don't stand a chance. Saturday the winds will be WSW 20 to 40 mph, Sunday 10 to 20 mph.

El Dorado Reservoir is open. Boat ramps at Bluestem Point, Shady Creek Marina, and Sailboat Cove are all open.

Ice is gone...now to get rid of the WIND!!
