    Default Extreme Cold Weather activities?

The post winter solstice weather and polar vortex impacts our ability to exercise our crappie fishing passion...so...what are you all doing in the mean time until ice out?

Share with us the ridiculous, the constructive, the productive, the lame, the humorous, the educational, the whatever...that you've been up to since we've been assaulted by the subzero mid-western craziness. Share pics if you got em.

I took advantage of a small window of sub zero temps and serious ice melting to do some pond shoreline management and get some brush piles placed.

That's pretty good thinkin' right there. That's pro-activity that should pay off big for you in the future.
About the only thing I could muster during the polar vortex (though not so ridiculous, constructive, productive, lame, humorous or educational) was a big crockpot full of homemade vegetable beef soup.
About as proactive as I could get and it sure was good to an old man's inner soul on a cold and windy couple of days of being couped up inside the house.

ok now that's what I'm talkin' about...cuisine definitely counts! I'm a busy body, not real good at sittin' still, and my kids are grown so I had a little spare time.

I installed LED strip lights in the bed of my truck, a tonneau cover, and an additional piece of strut - along the back edge of the cover.
