How is mica powder mixed with powder paint to get those super looking jig head colors?

I'll take a shot at it even though I don't have any mica. It's probably mixed in with the powder paint before you heat and dip the head to paint. What mixture of mica to paint I don't know as I have never used it. But you could mix a little, keeping a log of how much you added, and see how it turns out. That way you have a way of repeating it later if it worked out.

I too have never had any of the Mica Powder so don't know, but think he's got it right as far asa mixing it with clear powder paint. Some that use Vinyl may put it unclear vinyl? I have done that with Glow powder, but have to be careful with what % of the additional one to use. I also know the more Glow powder I used the rougher the head feels so I would do something to make them more smooth again.
