Why on earth do folks take chances on breaking the game laws? To day I watched two undercover game wardens ( fishing in kayaks ) and two uniformed officers, give chase to a fellow in a kayak who was obviously in some game violation.
The two undercover wardens followed the violator, while the other two ran along the bank until they cornered him at the boat landing.Turns out he didn’t have his $10.00 trout stamp.

Some just don't care, until they get caught...

I bet that ticket will be a lots more than the $10 stamp.

I have to wonder if they didn't think there was a bigger violation there. Why would 4 law enforcement officers chase down 1 guy for a missing $10 trout stamp? I'm not saying the guy doesn't deserve a ticket but they used a lot of resources for this.

Hmmm. That spot must be a popular trout spot, with lots of violators/complaints, because IMO DNR around here does not stage ops like that unless there is a specific pattern of violation that needs quelling, and they can write a bunch of tickets that stick, you know... just sayin', fish cops in kayaks would be extreme here. Not that it wouldn't work.

I'd personally rather see DNR LE on the big lakes nailing gad-abouts for no-wake violations and loud music. Sucks when I'm vertical fishing a bridge column and here goes backwards-cap Beavis thru there about 50 Mph.

Ain't it sad when cousins marry?

We had a sailboat circling tighter and tighter while we casted. My buddy switched to a large musky lure and [accidentally] tossed it into the sail. They left.

High speed chase in a kayak. That would be entertaining.
