    Default A question about current

Over here in MS, when they open the gates to lower Ross Barnette, the fish will move out of the channel and into structure, apparently avoiding the increased current. Wondering if folks find that same effect on Toledo Bend?

Dunno about Toledo Bend, but on The Pearl that is always the case. If you’re gonna fish the main river, and not back water, you’re looking for water running backwards. If there’s not a tree or limb there.... put one there A question about current

Backwards moving water? I have a spot just like that. It happens at a sharp bend a bayou which seems to create a bit of an eddy or whirlpool flow.
