Default Shumeister gets into a few...

So I had caught some goodun's yesterday, and I let Shu know about it. Shu decided to join me this morn, and this time we'd keep a few. I guaranteed him we'd catch 6 keepers. Six keepers is what he says is "all he needs". I figured I coulda kept maybe 10 keepers the short time I fished the day before so a couple of pro's fishing together could catch a dozen keepers easy. Well, wasn't gonna happen that way.

Where's that one jig in all this stuff....Shu

We kinda longlined, was weird at first cause Shu had weights on his lines, but he got rid of those, and we finally caught a few fish (brim and bass mostly). But only two keeper Crappie.

We decide to hit one spot, just casting, before we quit, and low and behold, we catch some. Caught bass and crappie. 4 real nice keeper Crappie were caught there. Switching up worked. Had we not wasted the whole morning longlining, we mighta got the dozen. But anywho, Shu left with 6 nice ones, which is all he needed anyway....lol

I think the total number of fish we caught this day was 13, between the bass, crappie, and brim.

See Shu's long rods sticking out the back window. He never stops fishing, trolls right down the street looking for crappie.

Always a pleasure Shu, lets do it again real soon.

13 fish and 6 keepers. That's a good day in my book. Besides, having to clean more than 6 starts to be work. Looks like you had a good day.

another good day at the office !

The key west is the travel boat. The tracker is the home lake boat. Simplifies everything. Lol

Good job you two. Glad you figured out where they were and got a few. Monroe was glassy today.
