Total NOOB to crappie fishing going to the lake friday morning, weather forecast temp 37-47 wind about 4 alt about 30.49 what bait and depth would you guys recommend...and should i look for brush or open water? TIA

They sell Nitro Eggs in bright pin...I have caught 6 this year on them...I use trout hooks #10...place weights about 8-10 inches above them and go for it!!!

If crappie fishing ! they will be either on the brush piles or in the Chanel or both usually 10-12’ is the ticket just about anytime on that lake! As far as trout I hadn’t fished their for them but if I was too it’s hard to beat a half of a night crawler slowly slowly pulled across or left on the bottom !
try around the drain overflow up near ,and out in front of the left side of the dam. They will suspend in the deeper water around it maybe 12 to 15ft this time of year
I bet the County Lake maestro shows up soon. I ain't never done much good there but it's a ? spot to fish.
